What You'll Do:
- Build and maintain automated performance testing frameworks and pipelines integrated with CI/CD workflows.- Collaborate with Software Engineers, Architects, and SRE teams to improve system scalability, resiliency, and efficiency.
- Conduct capacity planning exercises and provide data-driven recommendations for infrastructure scaling.
- Create performance dashboards, monitoring solutions, and reports to provide visibility into system health and trends.
- Validate performance impacts of new features, architecture changes, and production releases.
- Lead root cause analysis for performance-related incidents and proactively identify areas for improvement.
- Mentor engineers and establish performance engineering best practices across the organization.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Performance Engineering, Performance Testing, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as:
- JMeter
- Gatling
- LoadRunner
- k6
- Locust- Strong understanding of:
- Distributed systems
- Cloud-native architectures
- Performance tuning methodologies
- Scalability patterns
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or Go.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and database performance tuning concepts.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, New Relic, Splunk, or similar.
- Experience integrating performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
