Key Responsibilities:
- Production Oversight: Direct and coordinate daily activities on the production floor to ensure efficient operation of injection and blow molding machines.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate production staff, including machine operators, technicians, and material handlers. Manage schedules, shifts, and performance evaluations.
- Process Optimization: Monitor production workflows to identify bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean Manufacturing, 5S) to increase machine uptime, reduce scrap rates, and maximize output.
- Quality Control: Ensure all manufactured products meet company and customer quality specifications. Address and resolve any production defects or process variations immediately.
- Equipment Maintenance: Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure all molding machines, molds, chillers, and auxiliary equipment are running at peak performance. Oversee preventative maintenance schedules.
- Safety Compliance:
Enforce all workplace safety protocols and OSHA (or local equivalent) regulations. Conduct regular safety meetings and promote a zero-accident culture.
- Inventory & Materials: Coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure the timely availability of raw materials (resins, colorants) and manage work-in-progress (WIP) inventory.
- Reporting: Track daily production metrics, downtime, and scrap, providing regular reports to upper management.
Experience: Minimum of [3-5] years of supervisory or management experience in a plastic manufacturing workplace, specifically with injection molding and/or blow molding.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
