Siebel CRM Support Engineer (L2)

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and implement preventive measures.
- Coordinate with business users to understand issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Work with development, QA, database, and infrastructure teams to resolve complex production problems.
- Execute production deployments, patch validations, and post-release verification.
- Support data fixes and perform SQL queries for troubleshooting and validation.
- Maintain incident records, knowledge base articles, and operational documentation.
- Participate in on-call support and rotational shifts when required.
- Follow ITIL processes for Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management.

Required Technical Skills
- 2-6 years of experience in Oracle Siebel CRM production support.
- Strong knowledge of Siebel CRM architecture and components.
- Experience with:
- Siebel Tools
- Siebel Web Client / Open UI
- Siebel Workflow
- Assignment Manager




- Enterprise Integration Manager (EIM)
- Enterprise Application Integration (EAI)
- Good understanding of Siebel Business Components, Business Objects, Applets, Views, and Workflows.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Database and SQL.
- Working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.
- Experience with log analysis, debugging, and performance monitoring.
- Familiarity with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Remedy.
- Knowledge of ITIL support processes.

Preferred Skills
- Experience in Telecom, BFSI, Healthcare, or Insurance domains.
- Exposure to REST/SOAP Web Services and API integrations.
- Understanding of batch processing and interface monitoring.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a 24×7 production support workplace.
