Key Responsibilities

- Safely administer chemotherapy drugs following prescribed protocols and physician orders.
- Manage administration routes, including intravenous (cannula and port), subcutaneous, oral, and intrathecal.
- Monitor patients for side effects during and after chemotherapy administration.
- Patient management: Assess patients for potential side effects of chemotherapy and implement appropriate interventions.
- Educate patients on managing common side effects at home.
- Collaborate with the physician to manage any adverse drug reactions.
- Emergency response: Assist the resident physician in managing any medical emergencies that may arise during treatment.
- Remain calm and take appropriate actions to ensure patient safety.
- Document all procedures,



assessments, and interventions accurately.
