Detailed Description

Responsibility:

1. Define/Build Celestica BIOS common feature/module and develop Celestica feature specification & implement guide.
2. Co-work with IBV and lead cross team to develop BIOS, investigate and fix issues for Celestica production and implement all BIOS features on time.
3. Work closely with related vendor to drive its product/technology to meet Celestica request.
4. Thinking of Celestica customer requirements, develop customized features, and provide good service to customer.

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

Requirement:
1. Master or Bachelor's degree in CS, EE or equivalent.
2. 10+ years' experience with BIOS/UEFI Firmware development;
3. Deeply understand x86 architecture and PC related industry standards(PCIe, ACPI,JEDEC, USB, ATA , IPMI, Redfish,and so on);
4.



Valuable experience in BIOS/UEFI firmware framework/code structure, and/or IBV BIOS code, such as AMI/Insyde/Phoenix project code;
5. Be familiar with Intel PI SPEC, EDK I and EDK II. And Experience with RAS is preferred
6. Excellent debug and troubleshooting skills;
7. Good communication skills in English.

Physical Demands

- Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
- Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
- Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
- Occasional travel may be required.
