The Associate Manager – Health, Safety & Environment (SSH-HSE.



plays a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and well-being of all employees within the organization. This position requires a seasoned professional with 8–10 years of experience in health and safety management, particularly within an industrial setting.

The role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive health and safety programs that comply with applicable legal requirements and industry standards. The Associate Manager will lead initiatives to foster a strong safety culture, ensuring that all employees are adequately trained and equipped to identify and manage potential hazards.

This role requires a proactive approach to risk assessment and management, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and adherence to applicable occupational health and safety standards. The successful candidate will collaborate with various departments to integrate safety protocols into daily operations, ensuring compliance and minimizing workplace risks.

Additionally, the role requires strong leadership and communication skills to guide teams in achieving safety excellence and maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.

Responsibility

Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations mandated by law and stay updated on regulatory changes to implement necessary adjustmentsbrConduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement effective control measures to mitigate identified risksbrProvide comprehensive safety training for employees at all levels ensuring that all staff are wellversed in emergency response protocolsbrConduct thorough investigations into workplace incidents and implement corrective measures to prevent the recurrence of accidentsbrFormulate and regularly update health and safety policies tailored to the organizations needsbrConduct daily safety briefings to reinforce the importance of safety address emerging safety concerns and promote a proactive safety mindsetbrRegularly inspect workplace facilities to identify potential hazards and collaborate with teams to address immediate safety issuesbrOrganize and conduct safety training sessions for new and existing employees tailoring training programs to address specific risks associated with different rolesbrMaintain detailed records of safety inspections incidents and training sessions using data to assess the effectiveness of safety programs and identify areas for improvementbrWork closely with management department heads and employees to integrate safety considerations into daily operations and provide guidance on the selection and use of safety equipmentbrLead health and safety initiatives to proactively identify and mitigate potential risks reducing the likelihood of workplace accidents and injuriesbrEnsure compliance with health and safety regulations to protect the organization from legal consequences including fines and penaltiesbrCreate a safe work environment that contributes to the physical and mental wellbeing of employees enhancing morale and job satisfaction
