About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Instrumentation & Automation Engineer responsible for the installation, commissioning, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of instrumentation and automation systems in an industrial/process plant environment.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in PLC, SCADA, field instrumentation, control panels, valves, calibration, loop checking and commissioning. Experience in oil & gas, chemical, waste treatment, water treatment, refinery or other process industries will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle installation, testing, calibration, commissioning and maintenance of field instruments and control systems.
- Operate, maintain and troubleshoot PLC and SCADA systems.
- Perform PLC logic verification, I/O checking and functional testing.
- Maintain and troubleshoot Process PLC, Safety PLC and control panels.
- Handle field instruments such as Flow, Level, Pressure and Temperature instruments.
- Installation, testing and maintenance of control valves, pneumatic valves and hydraulic valves.
- Carry out loop checking, instrument testing and commissioning activities.
- Read and understand P&ID;, Hook-up Drawings, Loop Diagrams, Instrumentation Drawings and Cause & Effect Diagrams.
- Participate in pre-commissioning and commissioning of plant equipment and instrumentation.
- Monitor and troubleshoot signals from field instruments to PLC/SCADA.
- Coordinate with plant operators, electrical, mechanical and other maintenance teams for smooth plant operation.
- Conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance of instrumentation and automation systems.
- Check and maintain control panels, junction boxes, cables and communication systems.




- Monitor system parameters and identify instrumentation/control-related abnormalities.
- Maintain proper records of calibration, maintenance, breakdowns, testing and commissioning activities.
- Support plant shutdown, start-up and modification activities.
- Ensure instrumentation systems are maintained safely and efficiently as per plant requirements.

Qualification
- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Instrumentation, Electronics & Instrumentation, Electrical & Instrumentation, Electronics or related engineering discipline.
- 4–8 years of relevant industrial experience.

Preferred Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should have:
- Strong hands-on experience in Instrumentation & Automation.
- Good understanding of PLC/SCADA-based process control.
- Experience in plant commissioning and maintenance.
- Ability to independently troubleshoot field instruments and control systems.
- Good understanding of industrial safety and permit-to-work procedures.
- Ability to coordinate with plant operators and other maintenance departments.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
