Designation - Formulation & Development

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and improve formulations for skincare, haircare, and cosmetic products.
- Conduct laboratory trials, prototype development, and product optimization.
- Perform stability, compatibility, and performance testing of formulations.
- Research current raw materials, ingredients, and market trends.
- Scale up formulations from laboratory to commercial production.
- Coordinate with production, QA/QC, procurement, and packaging teams.
- Prepare and maintain formulation records, SOPs, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable cosmetic regulations and quality standards.
- Evaluate competitor products and recommend improvements.
- Troubleshoot formulation and manufacturing-related issues.

Required Skills:
- Knowledge of cosmetic formulation techniques and raw materials.
- Understanding of emulsions, surfactants, preservatives, fragrances, and active ingredients.




- Experience in stability studies and product evaluation.
- Knowledge of cosmetic regulatory requirements and GMP practices.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and technical reporting.
- Good communication and cross-functional coordination skills.

Preferred Experience
- Experience in skincare, haircare, color cosmetics, or personal care products.
- Exposure to technology transfer, pilot batches, and commercial scale-up.
- Familiarity with ISO, GMP, and cosmetic compliance requirements.
