Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and analytically driven Sourcing & Supply Chain Internfrom an engineering background to join our procurement and supply chain team. This internship offers hands-on exposure to real-world sourcing, vendor management, and supply chain processes in a global manufacturing workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Help prepare and maintain purchase orders, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and procurement trackers:
- Support cost analysis and comparisonof vendor quotations
- Help maintain and update supplier databases and sourcing records:
- Assist in inventory tracking and stock reconciliationactivities
- Coordinate with internal teams such as design, production, and quality for material requirements
- Assist in preparing MIS reports and dashboardsrelated to procurement and supply chain activities
Eligibility Criteria
- Currently pursuing or recently completed B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Manufacturing / Industrial Engineeringfrom a recognised institution
- Basic understanding of supply chain concepts, procurement processes, and vendor management:
- Familiarity with engineering drawings and BOM structuresis an added advantage
- Proficiency in MS Office — Excel, Word, and PowerPoint:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environmentSelf-motivated with a strong willingness to learnCompany:
