Sandvik Mining & Rock Solutions (SMR) is a leading supplier in equipment and tools, services and technical solutions for the mining and construction industries. To our Rock Tools division and the Plant Engineering Maintenance at Pune, we are now looking for an Engineer
- Electrical Maintenance to join us.

Job Purpose:
To be more specific, your main responsibilities to handle in this position are:
- Ensure compliance with Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) standards and promote secure work practices across the workplace.
- Support EHS initiatives and actively contribute to the development of a strong safety culture within the organization.
- Implement and maintain QEHSSA (Quality, Environment, Health, Safety, Security,



and Asset Management) systems in the work environment.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and efficiently troubleshoot and rectify electrical, electronic, mechanical, and control system issues in CNC machines (Fanuc, mazatrol, DMG, Okuma, Siemens), conventional machines, PLC-controlled systems, SCADA systems, utility equipment, and material handling equipment, while prioritizing workplace safety.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major machine failures and implement corrective and preventive actions to enhance equipment reliability.
- Create, manage, and close maintenance notifications and work orders in SAP S/4HANA; maintain accurate records of breakdowns, preventive maintenance, service activities, and miscellaneous jobs. Ensure effective shift communication through detailed maintenance logbook updates.
