Role: L2 Acronis Backup Administrator\

Role Summary\
\
\
- Monitor daily backup jobs, alerts, replication status, and backup infrastructure health.\
\
- Troubleshoot Acronis backup failures, agent issues, storage errors, connectivity problems, and restore failures.\
\
\
- Manage backup policies, schedules, retention, agents, repositories, and storage capacity.\
\
- Support backup configuration for physical servers, virtual machines, endpoints, and cloud workloads.\
\
\
- Maintain SOPs, reports, ticket updates, and operational documentation.\
\
- Support incident, change, problem management, DR drills, and compliance activities.\
\
Key Responsibilities\
\
- Experience in backup administration or infrastructure support.\
\
- Hands-on experience with Acronis Cyber Protect, VEEAM or similar backup platforms.\
\
- Good understanding of backup types, restore methods, retention, and recovery testing.\




\
- Knowledge of Windows Server, basic Linux/Unix, VMware/Hyper-V, storage, and networking concepts.\
\
- Experience with ITSM tools and ITIL-based incident, change, and problem management.\
\
- Ability to analyze logs, identify root causes, and provide explicit technical updates.\
\
Educational Qualification\
\
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related technical field. Equivalent relevant work experience may also be considered.
