About the Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with solid Oracle Xstore expertise, Java development experience, and a solid understanding of retail point-of-sale systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain solutions using Java, XML, SQL, and Oracle technologies.- Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
- Support testing, deployment, and release management activities.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure development follows best practices.Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience developing Oracle Retail Xstore POS solutions.
- Strong experience with Java, XML, SQL, and Oracle databases.- Solid understanding of retail POS workflows and store operations.- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in Agile development environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Oracle Retail Suite products.
- Knowledge of retail enterprise architecture.
- Experience with release management and deployment processes.
- Exposure to cloud-based retail solutions is a plus.
