At POPO Global, we move fast, think customer-first, and believe great service is at the heart of every successful restaurant. We are looking for a high-energy Order Taker, with a Senior Order Taker track for experienced professionals, to be an integral part of our restaurant operations.

You will be the key point of contact between our guests and the kitchen, ensuring orders are taken accurately, service is smooth, and every guest enjoys an exceptional dining experience. Key Responsibilities

- Welcome guests warmly, assist with seating, provide menus, and offer water or refills.
- Take accurate customer orders and enter them promptly into the POS/system.
- Guide guests with menu knowledge and recommend suitable food and beverage options.
- Ensure food and beverages are delivered to the table accurately and on time.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and suggest relevant add-ons or recommendations.
- Deliver friendly, attentive, and professional customer service throughout the guest journey.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper setup of tables before and after service.
- Clear and reset tables efficiently for the next guests.
- Keep service stations stocked with napkins, utensils, trays, condiments, and other essentials.
- Support the service team with day-to-day restaurant operations.
- Assist with restaurant opening, closing, and cleaning activities.
- Handle and clean used dishes, plates, cutlery, glasses, pots, and pans as required.
- Assist in maintaining overall restaurant hygiene, cleanliness, and presentation standards.
- Support the team with unloading, organizing, and storing stock.
- Follow all restaurant SOPs,



food safety, hygiene, and service standards.
- Work closely with the kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and guest satisfaction.

RequirementsMust-Have Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Age: 18–35 years.
- Friendly, polite, courteous, and customer-focused personality.
- Well-groomed and skilled appearance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service and teamwork abilities.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain energetic and composed in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Physically fit and comfortable working for extended periods while standing.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays as per business requirements.

Preferred Qualities
- Good knowledge of food and beverage service.
- Ability to confidently recommend menu items and upsell products.
- Positive attitude with a strong willingness to take ownership.
- Ability to handle customer queries and resolve service-related concerns professionally.
- Previous experience with POS/order-taking systems will be an advantage.
