Title: Sr Manager / Director, Product Management

Department: Product Management The role (why we are hiring)

We are standing up a current product team in India to own the administration experience end to end: governance, platform administration, data synchronization, application lifecycle management, and the knowledge layer that makes the platform trustworthy at scale. This is one of the most important parts of our product and the part that large customers depend on most.

We are hiring a player-coach to own this domain and build the team. You will directly manage two senior product managers, set the strategy for the administration persona, and personally own the knowledge layer. You will report to the VP of Product and be the anchor for this new team.

What you will do

- Own the strategy and roadmap for administration: governance, admin, sync and integration reliability, application lifecycle management, and the knowledge layer.

- Lead as a player-coach. Manage and grow two senior PMs while personally owning the knowledge layer and shaping the highest-leverage bets yourself.





- Make the platform trustworthy at scale. Reduce the friction admins face today, from first setup to ongoing management, so customers can adopt broadly and safely.

- Partner with Engineering, Design, Security, and Support to deliver measurable improvements in governance adoption and admin satisfaction.

- Build the operating rhythm of a new team: discovery, prioritization, delivery, and a strong connection to customers and the field despite the distance.

- Represent the administration persona with customers, Sales, and Customer Success, and turn what you learn into a clear point of view.

- A credible, well-run administration product team in India with clear ownership and momentum.

- Governance and admin experiences that are materially easier to adopt and manage, reflected in retention and expansion.

- A knowledge layer that raises the quality of everything built on the platform, including AI.

Qualifications

Required

- 8+ years in product management, including experience leading or mentoring other product managers.

- Deep SaaS product experience, ideally with a PaaS or platform product.

- Highly technical. You understand APIs, data models, and how systems integrate, and can go deep with engineering, without being a developer yourself.

- Depth in platform, governance, administration, security, or data domains.

- A track record of owning complex, technical product areas and delivering measurable outcomes.

- You work fluently with leading AI tools and use them daily in your product work.





- Strong people leadership. You can hire, coach, and hold a high bar.

- Excellent communication across time zones and with executive stakeholders.

Preferred

- Low-code or no-code platform experience is a bonus.

- Some design ability, and comfort prototyping your own ideas with tools like Figma, Figma Make, or Claude Design.

- Experience standing up or scaling a new team.

- Familiarity with governance, compliance, or IT administration for enterprise software.
- Experience with audits and attestations like SOC2, ISO, and other frameworks.
