Role Description Senior Merchandiser Circular Knit Fabric role is a full-time, on-site position based in Tiruppur. The role involves overseeing circular knit fabric sourcing and procurement, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring timely availability of fabrics aligned with production needs.

The Deputy

Manager will monitor fabric quality through regular inspections, coordinate with quality assurance teams, and maintain compliance with internal and customer standards. Daily responsibilities include negotiating prices and terms with suppliers, tracking orders,



resolving supply issues, and optimizing cost and lead times. The role also includes leading and guiding the fabric team, collaborating closely with merchandising, production, and logistics teams, and maintaining accurate documentation and reporting for all fabric-related activities.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of textiles and circular knit fabric, with practical experience in fabric development or fabric sourcing.
- Proficiency in procurement and vendor management, including experience in supplier evaluation and purchase order handling.
- Experience in quality control for fabrics, including inspection processes, testing standards, and corrective action follow-up.
- Demonstrated team management skills with the ability to lead, coordinate, and develop team members.
- Effective negotiation skills for pricing, terms, and service-level agreements with mills and suppliers.
- Relevant academic background in Textiles, Apparel Technology, or a related field; a diploma or degree in textile engineering is an advantage.
- Knowledge of knit fabric production processes, compliance requirements, and sustainability practices in the textile industry.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in common office and ERP tools.
