Position: Civil Engineer - Maintenance

Role Overview

Amity University Patna is looking for an experienced Civil Engineer - Maintenance to manage the maintenance, repair, upkeep, and smooth functioning of campus/building infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day civil maintenance and repair activities across the campus.
- Inspect buildings and infrastructure and identify maintenance requirements.
- Supervise civil works including masonry, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, painting, plumbing-related civil works, and general repairs.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service agencies for maintenance works.
- Monitor the quality, progress, and timely completion of assigned maintenance jobs.
- Prepare maintenance requirements, estimates, work orders, and material requirements.
- Ensure proper upkeep of buildings, common areas, facilities, and other campus infrastructure.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities and follow up on pending issues.




- Coordinate with internal departments to resolve maintenance-related concerns efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and institutional maintenance procedures.

Required Experience & Skills
- Civil Engineering qualification from a recognized institution.
- Relevant experience in building/campus/facility maintenance is mandatory.
- Solid knowledge of civil repair, maintenance, and infrastructure upkeep.
- Construction-only experience is not preferred.:
- Experience in vendor/contractor coordination will be an added advantage.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple maintenance activities and respond to urgent requirements.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
