Duties & Responsibilities:
General
- To promote a safe working setting for staff
- To always promote HCAH
- To lead by example and create a work culture of clinical excellence and job satisfaction

- To be familiar with and promote the use of company policies and procedures

Operational
- To have operational responsibility and accountability for clinical activity in the region
- To maximise clinical team efficiencies by utilising the team in the best possible way,

including:
- Reporting staff utilisation figures to Director of Nursing (DON)as requested (annual
- leave, training, sick leave)
- To maintain staff competencies and ensure review of competencies annually
- Arranging any further training provision in order to maximise efficiencies
- Working with BD to promote services where skills are present but under utilised
- To provide KPI reports to DON as requested

Quality of care
- To be responsible for quality of service provision in the region through:
- Shadow visits
- To undertake audits of the service in the region using the audit standards provided




- by DON including unannounced audits and announced audits
- Staff performance reviews, including appraisals and Performance management
- (disciplinary)
- Reporting and resolving of any customer concerns or complaints and supporting
- staff who have been implicated in a complaint
- Quality Indicator monitoring and reporting
- KPI reporting to DON

Resource management
- To be responsible for staff recruitment based on workload requirements by:
- Interviewing using company recruitment forms
- Close liaison with HR to ensure correct company files are maintained

- Liaising with DON and HR to ensure induction programmes are planned and that
- staff attendance is 100%
- To be responsible for staff performance:
- Monitoring clinical incidents and reporting to DON as requested
- Undertaking root cause analysis of incidents and preventative actions and reporting
