We are looking for a Data Engineer to enhance Tenderlink, a platform that connects buyers and suppliers by streamlining tendering, procurement, and contract management processes.

Reporting to the Manager, Commercial Data Quality & Innovation, this is a hands-on technical role responsible for independently designing, building, optimising, and enhancing data pipelines that power Tenderlink data assets. You will focus on ensuring high-quality, reliable, and scalable data ingestion, including web scraping and integration of data sources into an in-house ETL data studio.

- Experience in data engineering, data automation, ETL, or similar technical data roles.
- Hands-on Python skills for data processing, automation, and web scraping, with knowledge of SQL for data extraction, validation, and analysis.
- 4+ years of experience with structured data formats such as CSV, Microsoft Excel, and JSON, with a clear understanding of data ingestion, transformation, and pipeline concepts.
- Practical experience in web scraping using tools such as BeautifulSoup, requests, Selenium, and pandas, issues related to site changes, pagination, dynamic content, and inconsistent layouts.
