Job Summary:
The Factory Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily factory operations, managing
shop-floor workers, ensuring smooth production flow, maintaining quality standards, and
ensuring adherence to safety and company policies. The role focuses on productive resource
utilization, timely production, and maintaining discipline and productivity in the factory.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Production Supervision:
- Supervise and monitor day-to-day factory operations and production lines.
- Ensure production targets are achieved within timelines.
- Coordinate with the factory manager for daily production planning.
2. Manpower Management:
- Assign work to operators and laborers based on production requirements.
- Ensure proper attendance, discipline, and work performance of workers.
- Provide training and guidance to workers for better efficiency and safety.
3. Quality Control:
- Check materials and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Report any defects, rework, or quality issues to the concerned department.
- Ensure that production processes follow company quality norms.
4. Machine & Material Handling:
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of machinery and tools.
- Report equipment breakdowns immediately and coordinate with maintenance teams.
- Maintain record of raw material usage and wastage.
5. Safety & Compliance:
- Enforce safety procedures and maintain cleanliness on the shop floor.
- Conduct routine safety checks and report any hazards.
- Ensure compliance with factory laws and company policies.
6. Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintain daily production reports, attendance, and material consumption logs.
- Report shift activities, challenges, and achievements to the Factory Manager.
- Ensure proper handover between shifts.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma / ITI / Graduate in Mechanical, Electrical, or P
