Aksyenne Obscura is a premium women's fashion label based in Kolkata, creating contemporary garments with a strong focus on craftsmanship, quality, and attention to detail.
We are looking for an experienced Stitching Master to join our team and help bring our designs to life.
Responsibilities:
- Stitch first samples and production garments.
- Follow patterns, measurements, and tech packs accurately.
- Construct women's western wear including tops, dresses, skirts, trousers, and outerwear.
- Ensure high-quality stitching and finishing.
- Handle delicate and premium fabrics with care.
- Work closely with the designer during sampling, fittings, and garment development.
- Maintain consistency in quality and meet production deadlines.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in garment stitching.
- Experience in women's western wear.
- Ability to work independently from patterns or tech packs.
- Knowledge of industrial sewing machines.
- Robust understanding of garment construction and finishing.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with designer labels or export houses.
- Experience stitching samples and prototypes.
- Knowledge of premium fabrics such as chiffon, georgette, satin, velvet, linen, and cotton.
