Position Overview The Sr. Manager will serve as the senior financial leader responsible for all accounting, financial reporting, compliance, and fiscal management functions. This role requires a strategic finance professional can support PGPL's mission through sound financial stewardship, cutting-edge funding strategies, and transparent accounting practices.

Key Responsibilities

A. Financial Management & Strategy

I. Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with PGPL's business model

II. Oversee all accounting operations including billing, accounts receivable/payable, general ledger, cost accounting, and revenue recognition

III. Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial forecasting to ensure organizational sustainability

IV. Provide strategic financial guidance to support business development and expansion

B. Reporting & Compliance

I. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, management reports, and regulatory filings

II. Maintain compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and environmental finance reporting frameworks

III. Coordinate annual audits and liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies

IV. Implement internal controls and risk management procedures to safeguard organizational assets

C. Budgeting & Planning

I.



Lead annual budgeting process and quarterly financial planning cycles

II. Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis to leadership

D. Team Leadership

I. Build and mentor a high-performing finance and accounting team

II. Establish standard operating procedures and promote continuous improvement in financial processes

III. Foster a culture of integrity, accuracy, and mission alignment within the finance function

E. Stakeholder Management

I. Present financial results and insights to the Clients, Board of Directors and senior leadership

II. Collaborate with project managers to ensure financial viability

III. Engage with impact investors, grant-making institutions, and banking partners

Preferred candidate profile

Experience

I. Minimum 3-5 years of progressive accounting and financial management experience

II. Experience in sustainability-focused organizations, green businesses, social enterprises, or development sector preferred

III. Proficiency in ERP systems and financial management software

IV. Strong understanding of tax planning, compliance, and regulatory requirements

V. Desirable: Familiarity with ESG reporting frameworks, carbon accounting standards, and climate finance mechanisms
