We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Lead Digital Operations Engineer to lead operational excellence for Digital, Automation, AI/ML, and Next Generation Technology platforms.

This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, security, and operational readiness of cloud-native solutions deployed across Azure environments. The individual will serve as the bridge between Engineering, Architecture, Platform teams, Strategic Partners, and Operations, driving service stability, automation, observability, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate combines strong cloud engineering expertise with operational leadership and has hands-on experience managing enterprise-grade Azure, Kubernetes, AI/ML, and automation platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud & Platform Operations

- Lead operational ownership of Digital, Automation, AI/ML and Process Intelligence solutions.
- Support and maintain Azure cloud environments including:

- Azure PaaS Services

- Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)

- Azure Storage

- Azure Networking
- Azure Identity & Security Services
- Ensure platform reliability, resilience, scalability, and performance.
- Drive platform lifecycle management including upgrades, patching, vulnerability remediation, and operational readiness.

Kubernetes & Container Operations

- Manage and support containerized applications running on AKS.
- Perform cluster administration, capacity planning, node management, scaling and performance optimization.
- Troubleshoot Kubernetes, networking and application deployment issues.
- Implement best practices around container security, governance, and operational excellence.

Automation & Engineering





- Develop operational automation using Python and Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
- Build and enhance scripts, runbooks and operational utilities to reduce manual effort.
- Drive continuous improvement through automation and self-healing capabilities.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation processes.

Service Reliability & Observability

- Establish and improve monitoring, alerting and reporting capabilities.
- Build dashboards and operational metrics using tools such as Datadog and Power BI.
- Drive proactive incident prevention through observability and trend analysis.
- Define service health, availability and operational KPIs.

ITSM & Operational Leadership

- Lead Incident, Problem and Change Management activities.
- Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective action planning.
- Ensure adherence to enterprise operational standards and governance controls.
- Act as an escalation point for critical production incidents.

Architecture & Continuous Improvement

- Collaborate with Engineering and Architecture teams to operationalize new solutions.
- Influence platform design decisions to improve reliability, supportability and scalability.
- Recommend new technologies, tools and architectural improvements.
- Define operational support models for recent digital solutions.
