Role Description The Sr Lawyer role is a full time, on-site position based in Mumbai.

The Sr

Lawyer will manage complex cases, provide strategic legal advice, draft and review contracts and legal documents, and represent clients in court and before regulatory authorities as needed.

Responsibilities include leading legal research and analysis, preparing case strategies, mentoring junior legal staff, and coordinating with external stakeholders such as clients, opposing counsel, and relevant institutions. The role also involves ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, maintaining accurate case documentation, and contributing to the firm’s knowledge base and best practices.

Lawyer is expected to handle sensitive matters with discretion, uphold professional standards,



and support business development through strong client relationships.

Qualifications

- Robust experience in litigation and/or corporate law, including handling complex matters and independently managing case strategy.
- Strong skills in legal drafting, contract review, and document preparation, with attention to detail and clarity.
- Proficiency in legal research and analytical reasoning, including interpreting statutes, case law, and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present arguments clearly in writing and in person.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide junior lawyers or legal staff, and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Licensed to practice law in India, with an LL.B or equivalent degree from a recognized institution; an LL.M or specialization is an advantage.
- Solid understanding of Indian legal procedures and court practices; prior experience in Mumbai courts or tribunals is beneficial.
- High ethical standards, professionalism, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple matters and deadlines concurrently.
