1. Summary of the Role:
Fulfilling the manpower requirements based on requirement received from production heads, allocation of manpower to production units based on employee skills. Taking care of attendance, payroll management and training of allotted units. Timely redressal of grievance at production units to ensure smooth functioning of the process. Ensuring health and safety of employees and creating a valuable working atmosphere. Coordinating with government officials to meet the statutory requirements and maintain smooth public relations.
2. Duties & Responsibilities:
· Responsible to full fill the manpower requirement as per requisition received from production heads.
· Plan for mobilizing the manpower through daily announcements, referrals, walk-in interviews, approaching training centers & other agencies, internal promotions etc.
· Monitor the recruitment process of blue collared employees like screening, selection, hiring, induction / orientation process smoothly.
· Responsible to screen the CVs, shortlist the candidates, organizing for employment tests, personal Interview,



documents like salary slip, bank statement, educational certificate, experience certificate & background verification, final selection, hiring, induction & orientation for staff category.
· Monitoring the respective units Absenteeism, attrition and late coming % & MMR with the help of Personnel and admin team and production team.
· Monitoring respective unit’s attendance and payroll management periodically.
· Responsible for strict implementation of Social compliance in respective units.
· Accompanying External / Internal compliance audits, addressing and resolving the audit findings, preparing a corrective action plan and timely submission to concerned department.
· Filing the statutory reports to concerned government departments in prescribed formats within scheduled dates.
· Follow up on timely renewals of statutory documents with concerned government departments.
