Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Customer Consultation & Styling: Assist clients in selecting eyewear that matches their prescription, facial anatomy, lifestyle, and aesthetic preferences.
- Technical Dispensing: Read and interpret optical prescriptions, perform accurate ocular measurements (Pupillary Distance, fitting height, segment height), and recommend optimal lens options (progressive lenses, anti-reflective coatings, high-index materials).
- Sales & Upselling: Proactively achieve and exceed personal and store sales targets by presenting premium brands, lens upgrades, and optical accessories.
- Order & Lab Coordination: Process custom optical orders accurately, coordinate with lens labs for timely glazing/fitting, and conduct quality checks on incoming orders prior to customer delivery.
- Fitting & Adjustments: Handle minor frame adjustments, alignments, lens fitting inspections,



and after-sales repairs for optimal customer comfort.
- Inventory & Store Presentation: Maintain visual merchandising standards, monitor stock levels, participate in inventory audits, and safeguard premium displays.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of direct retail sales experience in optical stores, eyewear boutiques, or dispensing optometry clinics.
- Language Skills: Fluent English proficiency (verbal and written) is mandatory for qualified client communication. Knowledge of regional languages is an added advantage.
- Technical Optical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of prescription types (single vision, bifocal, progressive), lens coatings, frame materials (acetate, titanium, metal), and optical measurements.
- Sales Acumen: Proven ability to convert consultations into high-value sales with exceptional closing and negotiation skills.
