KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Release purchase orders and ensure on-time material availability
- Manage All India steel distribution across multiple plants and suppliers
- Handle distribution of 2500+ active parts daily.
- Coordinate with suppliers for order status, production, and dispatch planning
- Manage new development requirements and steel processing with multiple processing units
- Plan and coordinate steel and tube mill steel distribution
- Monitor inventory, including stock taking (57F4), reconciliation, FIFO, and excess stock.
- Track supplier performance (delivery, quality, responsiveness)
- Drive cost-saving initiatives through alternate sourcing and negotiation
- Plan and arrange transportation for timely material movement
