Job Description:

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Fortinet Pre-Sales Engineer & Product Technical
Specialist to support our distribution business. The role focuses on technical
pre-sales, partner enablement, and customer engagement across the Fortinet
portfolio.

The candidate will work closely with distribution-managed partners, system
integrators, and enterprise customers, providing technical expertise, solution
design support, and enablement to drive Fortinet adoption and growth.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Sales & Solution Engineering

* Act as a technical SME for the Fortinet security portfolio, including:
* FortiGate (NGFW)
* FortiManager / FortiAnalyzer
* FortiSwitch & FortiAP
* FortiEDR, FortiClient, FortiSIEM (as applicable)
* Support pre-sales activities such as:
* Requirement gathering and technical discovery
* Solution architecture and design
* Technical presentations, demos, and POCs
* Assist sales teams with:
* RFP/RFI responses
* BOM creation and solution size




* Licensing and subscription guidance

Partner & Customer Engagement

* Participate in:
* Distribution Managed Partner Round Tables
* Partner Round Tables
* Customer Round Tables
* Engage directly with partners and customers to position Fortinet solutions
effectively.
* Act as a trusted technical advisor during the sales lifecycle.

Training, Enablement & Onboarding

* Deliver partner enablement and training sessions on Fortinet solutions.
* Support current partner onboarding, ensuring technical readiness and alignment
with Fortinet best practices.
* Conduct Fast Track trainings and technical workshops.
* Help partners prepare for and achieve Fortinet NSE certifications.
* Develop and maintain technical documentation, demo labs, and enablement
material.

Collaboration & Vendor Interaction

* Work closely with:
* Internal sales and product teams
* Fortinet vendor technical and channel teams
* Stay updated with
