Role Description The Sr Accountant (CA or Inter CA only) will manage end-to-end accounting and reporting activities in a full-time, WFO capacity.

– Senior Accountant – Finance & Accounts

- Preparation of GST and TDS returns, Advance Tax and other tax workings , ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations.
- Processing of GST, TDS, Advance Tax, PF and Customs Duty payments within the prescribed timelines.
- Processing of regular supplier invoice payments and other routine business payments through banking channels.
- Handling inward and outward foreign remittances , including maintenance and monitoring of IDPMS/EDPMS records.
- Monthly provisioning for supplier expenses and sales commissions , along with periodic GL and balance sheet reconciliations .
- Performing intercompany/intergroup reconciliations , balance confirmations and resolution of reconciling items.
- Supporting Statutory, Tax and IFC audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations and required supporting documents.
- Preparing MIS and financial reports , analysing variances/findings and providing inputs to the Finance Manager.
- Updating and maintaining standard costs in the ERP system and ensuring accuracy of related information.
- Supporting the transition and implementation of the new ERP system , including process migration, data validation,



testing and resolution of system/process-related issues, while adapting to new functionalities and reporting requirements.
- Handling and responding to requirements, queries and documentation requests from banks and regulatory authorities .
- Ensuring accounting records and financial balances are accurate, complete and up to date .

Qualifications

- Professional qualification as Chartered Accountant (CA) fresher or Inter CA with 3-5 years of experience in a service sector industry with solid knowledge of accounting principles and standards (e.g., GAAP/IFRS).
- Proficiency in core accounting activities including general ledger management, financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing.
- Experience in taxation and regulatory compliance, including preparation and review of tax returns, statutory filings, and support for audits.
- Strong skills in using accounting and ERP software, as well as MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) for financial modeling and reporting.
- Ability to analyze financial data, prepare budgets and forecasts, monitor variances, and provide actionable insights to management or clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet strict timelines with high accuracy.
- High level of integrity, professional ethics, and commitment to confidentiality and quality in financial documentation.
- Prior experience in a consulting, HR solutions, or professional services environment is an advantage.
