Academic

Counsellor will provide comprehensive academic and career guidance to students, supporting their educational journey and professional development. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, advising on course selection and academic planning, and helping students identify appropriate career pathways aligned with their goals and strengths. The role involves organizing workshops and information sessions, collaborating with faculty and program teams to address student needs, and maintaining accurate records of counselling interactions and progress. The counsellor will also assist in early identification of academic or adjustment challenges and connect students with relevant resources and support services.



This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurgaon.

Qualifications

- Strong student-focused skills, including Student Counseling and Academic Advising, with the ability to guide learners through complex academic and career decisions.
- Excellent Communication skills, including active listening, clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to build trust with diverse student populations.
- Career Counseling capabilities, with experience helping students explore career options, prepare for recruitment processes, and develop long-term qualified plans.
- Background in Education or a related field, with understanding of academic policies, program structures, and contemporary trends in business and technology education.
- Relevant academic qualification such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Psychology, Education, Counseling, Management, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with faculty, administrative staff, and external partners to enhance student success and wellbeing.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills, with proficiency in using digital tools or student information systems for tracking and reporting.
- Prior experience in academic counselling or student services in a higher education or professional institute setting is highly preferred.
