The Talent Specialist plays a key role in supporting and enhancing Talent processes. This individual contributor role is responsible for coordinating and administering programs related to goal setting, performance management, succession planning, and employee engagement. The role ensures these processes are executed with consistency, data accuracy, and strong employee experience.
Additionally, the role supports the design, communication, and continuous improvement of talent programs to strengthen organizational capability and employee development.
Essential Duties
- Administer and support Talent processes, including performance management, goal setting, succession planning, and Connect check-ins.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely updates within talent systems and templates, maintaining strong data integrity across all processes.
- Coordinate and facilitate communication, resources, timelines, and guidance for annual talent programs to managers.
- Ensure consistent execution of talent processes and enhance the employee experience.
- Support the administration of the employee engagement survey, including documentation, communication, system readiness, tracking, and reporting logistics.
- Prepare dashboards, trackers, analytics, and summaries to support insights and decision‑making related to talent, performance, engagement, and succession data.
- Provide first-level support and respond to queries regarding talent and engagement programs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by documenting processes, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending enhancements to talent and engagement programs.
- Assist with the planning and delivery of communications, training materials, and presentations to support capability building around talent processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, accuracy,
and execution of talent and engagement initiatives.
- Provide trainers with content, goals, and facilitation support

- Strong understanding of talent management principles, including performance, goal setting, succession planning, and engagement.
- High attention to detail with the ability to maintain data accuracy across multiple systems and processes.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to convey guidance, timelines, and process instructions clearly to team members.
- Robust analytical and data interpretation skills to prepare dashboards, summaries, and insights that support decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cyclical processes simultaneously with strong organizational and time management capabilities.
- Ability to collaborate cross functionally with HRBPs, HRIS,
Communications, and HR Operations to coordinate talent programs.
- Proficiency with HR systems and tools (e.g., Workday, SAP, Oracle) and advanced capability with MS Office/Excel for reporting and analysis.
- Strong process orientation with the ability to document workflows, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements.
- Solid facilitation and presentation skills to support training, communications, and capability building efforts.
- Strong customer service mindset with the ability to provide responsive, accurate support to employees and leaders.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Commerce, Arts or related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in HR, talent management, or HR operations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of basic HR systems (Workday, SAP, Oracle or related) with proficiency in MS Office or related tools.
- Demonstrated experience supporting cyclical HR processes such as performance management, goal-setting, succession planning, or engagement programs.
- Proven ability to manage data accuracy, track updates, and maintain documentation across multiple HR processes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and prepare dashboards, summaries, or insights to support decision-making.
Additional Requirements
- Regular afternoon (Swing) shift with primary work from the Mumbai office
