Role Description The Spacecraft Engineer at Zei Academy will design, analyze, and refine spacecraft systems and subsystems, working closely with cross-functional engineering and research teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing conceptual and detailed designs, performing systems-level trade studies, running simulations, and validating spacecraft performance against mission requirements. The role also involves preparing technical documentation, contributing to test plans, supporting integration activities, and mentoring learners on spacecraft engineering concepts and best practices.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India, requiring regular collaboration with colleagues, instructors, and project partners.

Qualifications





- Strong foundation in Spacecraft Design and Spacecraft systems, with the ability to apply engineering principles to practical missions.
- Experience in Systems Engineering, including requirements definition, system architecture, integration, and verification.
- Background in Aerospace Engineering or closely related fields, with knowledge of orbital mechanics, propulsion, structures, and avionics.
- Advanced Analytical Skills for modeling, simulation, performance analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency with relevant engineering and simulation tools (e.g., CAD, MATLAB/Simulink, systems modeling software).
- Effective communication and documentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work in office in Delhi, India, collaborating in multidisciplinary teams and managing multiple projects or tasks.
- Prior experience with satellite or spacecraft projects, academic research, or aerospace industry internships is an advantage.
