About the Role

We are looking for a Food Sourcing Manager to join our sourcing team and manage vendor relationships, sourcing activities, and category-level initiatives. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, commercial understanding, and the ability to work closely with vendors and internal stakeholders.

This role is ideal for an ambitious professional who demonstrates high scalability and a strong willingness to grow into larger responsibilities and leadership roles.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify, evaluate, onboard, and manage food suppliers and vendors.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential vendors.
- Support sourcing of food products while ensuring the right balance of quality, cost, availability, and service levels.
- Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, payment terms, and other vendor agreements.
- Conduct vendor benchmarking and market research to identify competitive sourcing opportunities.
- Coordinate with vendors for product availability, quality, specifications, and timely deliveries.
- Work closely with internal teams such as Category, Operations, Quality, Finance, and Supply Chain.
- Monitor vendor performance and resolve sourcing-related issues.
- Analyze category performance, pricing, and market trends to identify opportunities for cost optimization and growth.
- Maintain sourcing data, vendor records, pricing information, and commercial documentation.




- Support new product/category launches and vendor expansion initiatives.
- Contribute to process improvements and scalable sourcing strategies.
- Take ownership of assigned categories and progressively handle larger responsibilities.

Candidate Profile
- MBA is mandatory, preferably from a recognized Tier-2 MBA institute
- 1–4 years of experience in Food Sourcing, Procurement, Vendor Management, Category Management, or a related function.
- Experience working directly with vendors/suppliers is preferred.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Good negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of sourcing processes.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and growth-oriented environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong ownership, accountability, and execution skills.
- High career ambition and willingness to scale rapidly within the organization.
