Borders Emergency Care Service (BECS) provides high-quality unscheduled care across the Scottish Borders. We are seeking a motivated and efficient Receptionist to join our Out of Hours GP clinical team.
As a receptionist, you will provide a telephony and reception service to patients, their families, and healthcare colleagues who contact the Out of Hours GP service. You will play a key role in delivering safe, effective, and compassionate care, including support for palliative care patients across the Scottish Borders.
Working in a fast-paced environment, you will be the first point of contact for many service users, requiring excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a high level of accuracy when managing information and supporting clinical workflows.
Previous NHS experience is desirable but not essential. This role includes night and weekend working.
