Job Title: Azure Cloud Engineer – L1

Experience: 2–2.1 years

Location: Chennai

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced L2 Azure Cloud Engineer to manage, monitor, and optimize our Azure cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will handle day-to-day Azure Management and operations, incident resolution, and implementation tasks while working closely with L1 support and L3 architects to ensure high availability, security, and performance of cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and support Azure infrastructure including Virtual Machines, VNets, Storage Accounts, Load Balancers, and Azure AD.

Perform incident and problem management (L2 escalations from L1), root cause analysis (RCA), and timely resolution within defined SLAs.

Implement and manage Azure IaaS/PaaS services: VMs, App Services, AKS, Azure SQL, Storage, Networking (VNet, NSG, VPN Gateway,



ExpressRoute).

Configure and maintain Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights for proactive monitoring and alerting.

Manage Identity & Access Management using Azure Active Directory (Azure AD/Entra ID), RBAC, and Conditional Access policies.

Support backup and disaster recovery solutions (Azure Backup, Site Recovery).

Work with Infrastructure as Code tools such as ARM Templates, Bicep, or Terraform for provisioning and automation.

Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

Handle patching, capacity planning, cost optimization, and performance tuning of cloud resources.

Ensure adherence to Cloud and well architected framework best practices, compliance standards, and Azure Policy governance.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Network, Security, Application) for change management and deployments.
