MUST-HAVE REQUIREMENTS

- 3–5 years of relevant experience as a SolidWorks Designer / Mechanical Designer.
- Strong hands-on experience in SolidWorks is mandatory.
- Experience with SolidWorks Routing Add-in is mandatory.
- MEP experience is required, particularly in HVAC, chilled-water piping, or related mechanical systems.
- Experience in modular design, equipment layouts, piping layouts, and packaged equipment systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with US-based clients.
- Experience working with US-based clients, vendors, and production teams is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication methods, materials, welding, and assembly techniques.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESSolidWorks & Mechanical Design
- Create accurate and production-ready 3D models, assemblies, layouts, weldments, and detailed manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
- Design and develop modular components, frames, support structures, and mechanical systems for manufacturing and data-center applications.
- Design modular HSS weldment frames and support structures for data-center applications.
- Create mating surfaces, identify correct library/vendor components, perform extrusions, create assemblies, and develop exploded-view diagrams with BOMs.
- Ensure designs meet functionality, manufacturability, efficiency, scalability, and project requirements.

Piping & MEP Design
- Develop piping layouts and routed systems in SolidWorks for chilled-water, HVAC, and other MEP applications.
- Utilize SolidWorks Routing Add-in for piping and routing design.




- Interpret and work with P&IDs;, PFDs, site layouts, equipment layouts, piping plans, GA drawings, specifications, and BOMs.
- Develop layouts for packaged equipment systems while considering piping, structural, mechanical, electrical, controls, maintenance, and clearance requirements.
- Apply practical knowledge of MEP systems, HVAC, chilled-water systems, piping, equipment layouts, and maintenance clearances.

Fabrication & Manufacturing
- Prepare fabrication-ready drawings and manufacturing documentation.
- Prepare CNC-ready STEP files, weld-gap details, bevel requirements, and fabrication drawings.
- Generate detailed BOMs, assembly instructions, design specifications, and production drawings.
- Work with Unistrut framing systems and various vendor components.
- Ensure drawings and models are suitable for purchasing, fabrication, assembly, and production.
- Coordinate with production and fabrication teams to resolve design and manufacturing issues.

Client & Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate with US-based clients, vendors, engineers, and production teams to understand requirements and resolve design issues.
- Review client comments and incorporate required design modifications.
- Participate in technical discussions and provide practical design solutions.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of deliverables.

Quality & Project Delivery
- Perform design reviews and identify opportunities for design optimization.




- Ensure all drawings and models meet project specifications and quality requirements.
- Manage multiple design activities and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
- Provide high-quality design outputs within the agreed schedule.
- Perform design and modeling activities independently with limited direction.

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS
- Advanced hands-on knowledge of SolidWorks.
- Hands-on experience with SolidWorks Routing Add-in.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Robust MEP design experience.
- Good knowledge of HVAC and chilled-water piping systems.
- Experience in modular design and packaged equipment systems.
- Experience in 3D modeling, assemblies, weldments, layouts, and fabrication drawings.
- Experience designing HSS weldment frames and support structures.
- Experience preparing STEP files and CNC/fabrication-ready outputs.
- Knowledge of Unistrut framing systems and vendor components.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing, fabrication, welding, materials, and assembly processes.
- Ability to interpret P&IDs;, PFDs, GA drawings, equipment layouts, piping drawings, and technical specifications.
- Good knowledge of BOM creation and engineering documentation.
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with US-based clients.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and with limited supervision.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
