Position: Solar Power Plant Expert – PMC

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra

Project site is located in Gujarat; travel to client/project site will be required as per project requirements.

Project Scope - PMC services for a 10 MW to 100 MW Solar Power Plant in Gujarat, covering the complete project lifecycle:

Survey → Design → Engineering → Procurement/Supply → Construction → Installation → GETCO Grid Connectivity → Testing & Commissioning

- Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Solar Power Plant Expert / Electrical Engineer with strong hands-on experience in utility-scale solar PV projects and detailed knowledge of GETCO (Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation Limited) requirements, procedures and grid-connectivity processes.

The candidate will be responsible for providing technical PMC support and coordination between the Client, Solar EPC Contractor, Consultants, equipment suppliers and GETCO/DISCOM/grid authorities throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate should have experience in 10–100 MW solar power projects in Gujarat, including grid interconnection, electrical design review, construction supervision, testing, commissioning and statutory/grid approvals.

- PMC Management Responsibilities

- Act as the Client's technical representative for solar electrical and grid-connectivity matters.
- Coordinate among Client, EPC Contractor, Consultant, OEMs and GETCO.
- Review EPC contractor's engineering and construction schedules.
- Monitor project progress against approved schedule.
- Identify technical risks, delays and interface issues.
- Prepare technical comments, MOMs and action trackers.




- Review contractor's method statements, ITPs and quality plans.
- Monitor compliance with project specifications, codes and statutory requirements.
- Support project management team in resolving technical and contractual issues.
- Provide regular technical progress reports to the Client/PMC management.

- Gujarat-specific statutory/grid approval processes

4. Qualification

Essential

- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- Minimum 8–15 years of relevant experience in Solar PV / Power / Electrical EPC projects.
- Experience in at least one or more 10 MW–100 MW utility-scale solar projects.
- Solid experience in GETCO grid connectivity and Gujarat power evacuation projects.

Preferred
- Experience as Electrical Lead / Solar Electrical Engineer / Grid Connectivity Engineer / PMC Engineer.
- Experience with 33 kV / 66 kV / 132 kV systems.
- Experience in solar plant commissioning and grid synchronization.
- Experience dealing directly with GETCO/DISCOM/GERC/CEA authorities.

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
