Role Description The Solar Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Vadodara, responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing solar power systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Day-to-day tasks include developing PV layouts, performing electrical design calculations, preparing technical drawings and documentation, and supporting feasibility studies and site assessments.

The role involves coordinating with project managers, procurement teams, and installation crews to ensure system designs are practical, safe, and compliant with relevant codes and standards.

Engineer will also troubleshoot design issues, contribute to cost and performance optimization,



and support commissioning activities to ensure systems meet performance targets.

Qualifications

- Strong understanding of the solar industry, including current technologies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of solar power generation principles and grid-connected/off-grid solar systems.
- Hands-on experience with PV design, including system sizing, panel layout, and performance simulation.
- Proficiency in electrical design, including single-line diagrams, cable sizing, protection schemes, and safety practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Ability to use relevant design and simulation software (e.g., PV design tools, CAD) and MS Office for reporting and documentation.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on safety and quality.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and site personnel.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed and work in field conditions.
