Job Title: Lead Solar Project Engineer
Role Overview: The Lead Solar Project Engineer is responsible for the end-to-end technical design, financial feasibility analysis, and project management of commercial and residential solar rooftop systems. This role requires deep expertise in on-grid, off-grid, and hybrid solar configurations, ensuring all installations are optimized for performance and strictly adhere to "Zero-Harm" safety and corporate compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Design & Engineering: Design robust solar rooftop and ground-mounted power systems. Evaluate the technical and economic impacts of various configurations, including the integration of solar charge controllers with standard UPS inverters.
- Net-Metering & Grid Compliance: Spearhead the net-metering approval process. Coordinate with local DISCOMs to ensure system designs meet all regulatory requirements for grid synchronization and bi-directional metering.
- Feasibility & Yield Analysis: Conduct site surveys, shading analysis, and load profiling. Generate detailed generation reports and ROI/financial feasibility models for prospective clients.
- Project Management & Execution: Oversee the mobilization of technical assets and manpower. Ensure project milestones are met on time while maintaining rigorous quality control.
- Safety Leadership: Enforce strict onsite safety protocols, ensuring all structural and electrical work aligns with national electrical codes and internal "Zero-Harm" mandates.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering.
- 3–5+ years of proven experience in designing and executing solar PV projects (rooftop and utility-scale).
- Proficiency in solar design software (e.g., PVsyst, Helioscope, AutoCAD).
- Deep understanding of net-metering policies,
tariff structures, and local electrical regulations.
Job Title: Senior Solar Installation Technician Role Overview: The Senior Solar Installation Technician is the on-ground expert responsible for the physical construction, electrical wiring, and commissioning of solar PV systems. This role demands precision in mechanical mounting, secure electrical terminations, and a steadfast commitment to workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mechanical Installation: Securely install roof mounts, structural frameworks, and solar modules across diverse roof types (RCC, metal sheet, etc.) while ensuring roof integrity and weatherproofing.
- Electrical Wiring & Integration: Execute DC and AC wiring, stringing, and termination. Safely install and configure string inverters, hybrid inverters, battery banks, and integrate solar chargers with existing electrical infrastructure.
- Net-Metering Setup: Install required bi-directional meters, AC/DC Distribution Boards (ACDB/DCDB), and proper earthing/lightning arrestor (LA) systems as per grid-compliance standards.
- Testing & Commissioning: Conduct pre-commissioning checks, including voltage, polarity, and insulation resistance testing using standard diagnostic equipment.
- Safety & Site Maintenance: Strictly adhere to PPE requirements, fall-protection standards for working at heights, and maintain a safe, organized project site.
Qualifications & Experience:
- B.Tech/B.E or Diploma or ITI in Electrical or Electronics.
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in solar rooftop installations and electrical fault finding.
- Valid certification for working at heights and electrical safety.
- Practical experience with net-metering grid connections and configuring various inverter brands.
Job Types: Full time, Permanent Pay: ₹12,500.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
