About the Role

GaonGram Tech Private Limited is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Software Tester Intern to join our development and QA team. The ideal candidate should be familiar with software testing methodologies, API testing, bug tracking, and quality assurance processes.

As a Software Tester Intern, you will be responsible for testing web and mobile applications, identifying defects, validating fixes, and ensuring that our products meet functional, performance, security, and usability requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform Smoke Testing to verify the stability of new builds.
- Execute Regression Testing to ensure existing functionality remains unaffected after changes.
- Perform Integration Testing to validate communication between different modules and services.
- Conduct System and Functional Testing across web and mobile applications.
- Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate features against business requirements.
- Conduct Load and Performance Testing to evaluate application behavior under different levels of traffic and workload.
- Perform basic Security Testing to identify common security vulnerabilities and potential risks.
- Perform API Testing using tools such as Postman.
- Validate API requests, responses, status codes, authentication, error handling, and data integrity.
- Design, document, and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios.
- Identify, reproduce, document, and track bugs with clear steps and supporting evidence.
- Perform Bug Verification and Retesting after fixes.
- Test applications across different browsers, operating systems, screen sizes, and devices.
- Perform UI/UX and Usability Testing to ensure a smooth user experience.
- Conduct End-to-End Testing of complete application workflows.




- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other team members to resolve defects.
- Maintain testing documentation, test reports, and QA records.
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and release testing activities.

- Browser Developer Tools
- Git/GitHub
- Performance testing tools such as JMeter or similar
- Basic understanding of HTTP/REST APIs, JSON, authentication, and status codes
- Basic knowledge of SQL/database testing is a plus
- Basic knowledge of test automation is a plus

Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed B.Tech, BCA, MCA, or a related degree.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.

- Ability to understand requirements and convert them into test scenarios.
- Ability to identify, reproduce, and communicate software defects clearly.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Passion for finding bugs and improving software quality.
