What Youll Do

- Understand business and functional requirements

- Prepare test scenarios and test cases based on requirement documents

- Perform functional, regression, validation, and exploratory testing

- Identify, document, and track software defects

- Execute positive, negative, and edge-case testing scenarios

- Validate UI, workflows, and business logic

- Collaborate with developers, product analysts, and stakeholders

- Participate in requirement discussions and clarification sessions

- Prepare testing status updates and defect reports

- Ensure product quality before release deployment

Required Skills

- Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).

- Ability to analyze Business Requirement, Functional Requirement, and user stories to identify testing requirements.

- Experience in designing and preparing comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and test data based on business requirements.

- Strong knowledge of Manual Testing methodologies and testing principles.

- Hands-on experience in Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

- Experience of using test management tools such as Jira or similar platforms.

- Working knowledge of MongoDB for data validation and verification.





- Experience in API testing using Postman or similar API testing tools.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and participation in Agile ceremonies.

- Ability to write effective test scenarios, test cases, and bug reports.

- Understanding of test planning, test estimation, and test execution processes.

- Basic knowledge of automation testing concepts and frameworks is an added advantage.

- Understanding of Capital Markets and Financial Services domain, including Stock Markets, Mutual Funds, IPOs, Demat Accounts, Trading Platforms, and related investment products.

- Ensure adherence to organizational Information Security policies and practices

Domain Knowledge

Candidates with FinTech and Capital Markets experience will be preferred, with a good understanding of financial products, trading platforms, investment workflows, and market processes.

Positive to Have

- ISTQB Certification or similar qualifications.

- Hands-on experience with Postman, API testing.

- Training or certification in manual testing or QA processes.

- Basic knowledge of the BFSI domain or regulatory compliance.

- Familiarity with different operating systems and basic networking.
