Role Description The Software Quality Assurance Test Engineer is a full time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. The engineer will design, document, and execute test plans and test cases to validate the quality, reliability, and performance of Sinotech Marine’s software solutions.

Day-to-day activities include performing manual testing, logging and tracking defects, collaborating with developers and product teams to clarify requirements,



and ensuring that releases meet quality standards and regulatory or customer expectations. The role also involves contributing to test management activities, supporting continuous improvement of QA processes, and participating in reviews to enhance software quality across maritime technology products.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Software Quality and Software Quality Assurance, with a focus on ensuring robust and reliable products.
- Candidates should possess solid Quality Assurance and Test Management skills to plan, organize, and report on testing activities effectively.
- Candidates should possess practical experience in Manual Testing, including test case creation, execution, and defect reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with software development lifecycles, defect tracking tools, and collaboration in cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in maritime, logistics, or industrial technology domains is an advantage but not required.
