SSGGG Fund Services Inc. (SGGG-FSI) is currently seeking to fill a full-time permanent position for the role of Jr Software QA Engineer. The successful candidate joining our existing software development team will be energetic, enthusiastic, reliable, and will have the chance to contribute to an effort in the development of financial services industry leading software.

Under the direction of the Vice President & Product Owner the Jr Software QA Engineer position is responsible for the execution and the development of manual tests, enhancement and testing of an investment fund accounting system. The role is also encouraged to use approved artificial intelligence (AI) tools to accelerate appropriate testing activities, such as drafting test scenarios, identifying coverage gaps, preparing test data ideas, organizing regression coverage, and improving defect documentation. As a member of an agile software development team, you will be tasked with the troubleshooting of software issues and the writing and execution of manual test plans for software quality control.

You will work with business analysts and end-users of an in-house developed software system to help define testing requirements and deliver on the execution of the testing needs. This represents a unique opportunity to be part of an established agile software development team that develops and implements new cutting-edge applications.

Core Responsibilities

· Work with the Business Analysts and Developers to write and execute manual test cases for the on-going software development effort.

· Perform functional testing to validate that software applications meet specified requirements and user expectations.

· Use approved AI-assisted testing tools,



where appropriate, to speed up test design and documentation, expand scenario coverage, identify possible edge cases, and reduce repetitive effort.

· Execute regression testing to ensure that previously identified defects have been resolved and no new issues have been introduced.

· Collaborate with QA team to enhance testing processes and methodologies.

· Display a proactive attitude, willingness to learn and adaptability of changing project requirements.

· Develop a professional and productive relationship with SGGG-FSI staff.

Qualifications

Work Experience

· Basic experience with software testing (academic or skilled experience)

· Experience with the test automation technologies (an asset, but not required).

· Knowledge of the investment fund industry systems, operations, technical and business processes (an asset, but not required)

· Hands-on experience working with relational database systems (SQL Server preferably)

Education

· University Degree or College Diploma in Computer Science (or equivalent experience in the field)

· Preference will be given to applicants with relevant certificates and training in Information Technology

· Preference will be given to applicants with current training and skill-sets

Pay: From ₹400,000.00 per year
