Hirely is recruiting on behalf of one of our hiring partners for a remote Software Engineer opportunity supporting the development of applications and environments for AI research and training. You’ll build and integrate software applications, develop backend services, and ensure systems are stable, testable, and ready for deployment.

What You’ll Do:

- You’ll build Python-based backend services and MCP servers , integrate web and desktop applications into sandbox environments, and work with APIs, Docker, Linux, and service configurations.
- You’ll test applications locally, troubleshoot build and runtime issues, manage application state, and ensure solutions meet deployment and validation requirements.

Who We’re Looking For:

- Ideal candidates have solid Python development skills and experience with APIs, backend systems, debugging, Docker, and Linux environments.
- Familiarity with configuration files, deployment workflows, containerized applications,



or third-party software integrations is highly valued.
- Experience with FastMCP, MCP servers, databases, or developer tools is a plus, but not required.

Compensation & Commitment:

- $40-$50/hour
- Fully remote
- Independent contractor
- Flexible schedule
- Weekly payments
