The Challenge Ahead The EA Digital Platform (EADP) organization is responsible for guiding critical technology decisions and investments for EA on a global scale, across all divisions and studio teams. Technology and engineering leadership at EA are crucial for developing the industry’s best games and services. The EADP team is dedicated to providing cross-platform infrastructure and services that will keep our consumers connected with our games anytime, anywhere, with anyone.

Responsibilities

- Build and integrate tools to automate processes and enhance efficiency.
- Create, maintain, and improve game call pattern simulation code using C++ or Scala to support applications and features.
- Perform stress and load testing, which includes designing tests, developing gameplay-driven scenarios, evaluating actual game logs to accurately represent load, and setting up complex distributed test environments to run tests and generate load.
- Execute tests and provide exact analysis and reporting of test results.
- Analyze and troubleshoot system and network issues related to performance and test automation processes.
- Troubleshoot to identify the root cause of issues found during testing, distinguishing between test issues and system component issues.
- Collaborate with peers to track and resolve issues.
- Communicate test status and results to the team.
- Adhere to EA’s policies, NDAs, and security guidelines.
- Ensure prompt reporting, proactive communication of issues, and agility in managing multiple tasks.
