Role Overview

Arch IT Solutions is hiring a Technical Business Development Specialist. This role is specifically designed for professionals with a technical software background (Application, CRM, ERP, or Web Development) who want to leverage their engineering foundation to bridge the gap between business needs and custom IT solutions. You will own client meetings, translate complex business requirements into scope documents, and lead tech-driven BD initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Technical Client Discovery: Lead B2B and B2C client discovery meetings to analyze business operations, gather technical requirements, and define software scope.
- Solution Pitching: Present custom IT offerings (Web, Mobile Apps, CRM, ERP, Cloud Solutions) with deep technical authority, demonstrating how our architecture solves specific operational bottlenecks.
- Proposal & Scope Creation: Collaborate with internal development teams to estimate project timelines, draft technical proposals, create Statements of Work (SOW), and define project milestones.
- Full-Cycle Business Development:



Manage lead conversion from technical consultation to contract execution and client onboarding.
- Requirements Translation: Serve as the strategic bridge between clients and engineering teams, translating business goals into clear tech specs and user stories.
- Strategic Upselling: Identify architectural expansions, module additions, and ongoing maintenance opportunities within existing client accounts.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Education: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Applications (B.E. / B.Tech / BCA / MCA / B.Sc IT).
- Technical Background: Prior hands-on experience or academic project work in software development (Full Stack, Mobile Apps, Web Development, or ERP/CRM implementation).
- Career Intent: Demonstrated enthusiasm to transition out of pure coding into client engagement, technical sales, and business development.
- Communication & Presence: Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills with an ability to speak confidently to both business stakeholders and engineering leads.
- Core Competencies: Strong analytical thinking, requirement mapping, active listening, negotiation, and consultative selling mindset.
