This is for one of our Automotive clients in India, seeking a highly skilled Software Architect to lead the architectural design and definition of our next-generation ADAS software platforms.
The Software Architect will act as the technical authority for the Vehicle Abstraction Layer (VAL) and the integration of Adaptive AUTOSAR middleware. The primary responsibility is to define a scalable, high-performance, and safety-compliant software architecture that enables complex ADAS functions to operate seamlessly across diverse vehicle platforms and heterogeneous hardware environments.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing software architectures for Software-Defined Vehicles (SDV).
- Experience with hypervisors, virtualisation, and containerization in automotive environments.
- Experience in hardware-software co-design and platform abstraction.
- Experience integrating CI/CD practices into embedded software development lifecycles.
- Experience with automotive development processes and standards such as ASPICE is desirable.
Experience working with heterogeneous computing platforms,
including CPU/GPU/accelerator-based architectures, is an advantage.

- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex technical trade-offs.
- Ability to clearly communicate architectural concepts, decisions, assumptions, and trade-offs to both technical teams and management.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Telecommunication, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 10–15 years of relevant experience in the automotive industry, preferably in automotive software development and architecture.
- Proven experience in software architecture for automotive embedded systems, with significant hands-on experience in ADAS, Adaptive AUTOSAR, middleware, or vehicle platform development.
