Job Summary

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Social Worker to join a multi-speciality hospital in Ankleshwar. The ideal candidate will play an important role in supporting patients and their families by coordinating welfare services, providing guidance, and connecting them with appropriate financial, government, charitable, and community resources.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, counsellors, and other hospital departments to support patient welfare.
- Assess patients' social, emotional, and financial needs and provide appropriate guidance.
- Assist patients and families in accessing financial assistance, government schemes, charitable support, and external resources.
- Support patients in understanding and accessing available welfare programs and services.
- Conduct patient awareness and education programs as required.
- Provide counselling support and appropriate referrals based on patient and family needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of counselling, referrals, assistance provided,



and follow-up activities.
- Support patients and families during critical illness, bereavement, and end-of-life situations with empathy, sensitivity, and professionalism.
- Coordinate with external organisations and support agencies when required.
- Maintain confidentiality and follow hospital policies and professional standards.

Requirements
- MSW (Master of Social Work) from a recognised institution.
- 3–6 years of experience preferred; hospital experience will be an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent counselling, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to communicate sensitively with patients and their families during difficult situations.
- Knowledge of government welfare schemes and community resources will be an advantage.
- Good documentation and basic computer skills.
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary hospital teams.
