Role Description The Social Relations Associate is a full time, remote role responsible for strengthening relationships with beneficiaries, partners, donors, and volunteers. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating communication with community members, responding to inquiries, and maintaining accurate records of outreach activities. The role involves supporting awareness campaigns, assisting with digital and social media communication, and preparing basic reports on community engagement outcomes.

Qualifications

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships across diverse communities.
- Experience in community outreach, social work, or nonprofit engagement, preferably supporting vulnerable or underprivileged groups.
- Competence in digital communication tools and social media platforms to support remote engagement and awareness activities.
- Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks, documentation, and follow-ups in a remote environment.
- Empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a demonstrated commitment to social impact and community service.
- Basic proficiency in office productivity software (such as word processing, spreadsheets, and online collaboration tools).
- Ability to work independently, collaborate virtually with team members, and adapt to evolving program needs.
- Relevant academic background in social sciences, sociology, social work, communications, or a related field is an advantage.
