About the Role

We are looking for a creative, proactive and social-media-savvy intern to assist with the day-to-day management, content creation and growth of Shama Sikander’s social media presence.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day social media activities, especially Instagram.
- Handle regular posting, Instagram Stories, Reels and other social media content.
- Plan and organise the content calendar and ensure content is posted consistently.
- Assist with shooting photos and videos for Stories, Reels and social media posts.
- Come up with creative Reel and content ideas that match Shama’s personality, image and interests.
- Stay updated with Instagram trends, trending audio, viral formats and what is currently working on social media.
- Proactively suggest fresh and engaging content ideas.
- Shoot and edit Reels, Stories and short-form videos.
- Have a good understanding of framing, angles, lighting and creating visually appealing content.
- Edit videos creatively with good pacing, transitions, captions, music and trending formats.
- Create and capture content around fashion, beauty,



lifestyle, fitness/wellness, travel, events and behind-the-scenes moments.
- Capture candid, spontaneous and day-to-day content whenever required.
- Assist with captions, hashtags, tagging, music selection and overall content execution.
- Research trending content, creators and formats and bring relevant ideas to the page.
- Monitor engagement and understand which types of content perform well.
- Assist with social media requirements for brand collaborations and events.
- Ensure content reflects Shama’s personality and maintains a consistent visual identity.
- Be proactive in bringing ideas rather than only executing instructions.

What We’re Looking For

- Strong understanding of Instagram and current social media trends.
- Someone who genuinely understands what works on social media.
- Highly creative with a strong sense of content and storytelling.
- Good shooting skills with an eye for framing, lighting and aesthetics.
- Solid video-editing skills, especially for Reels and short-form content.
- Knowledge of editing tools such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, VN, InShot or similar.
- Good understanding of fashion, beauty, entertainment and lifestyle content.
- Ability to understand a celebrity’s personality and translate it into natural, engaging content.
- Proactive and confident enough to pitch new ideas.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Willing to be present at Shama’s location and assist with content creation as required.

Ideal Candidate

Someone who is creative, trend-aware, good with a camera, good at editing and naturally understands Instagram — someone who can see a moment and immediately think, “This can become a Reel or Story.
