Job Title: Snowflake Developer / Lead Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Developer with strong expertise in designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise-scale data warehouse and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in Snowflake development, data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, performance tuning, and cloud-based data platforms. The candidate will work closely with data engineers, architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable and high-performing data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data warehouse solutions using Snowflake.
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale data processing.
- Develop and implement dimensional and relational data models.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
- Optimize Snowflake performance through query tuning, clustering, partitioning, and warehouse management.
- Develop and maintain data integration solutions using SQL, Python, or other programming languages.
- Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance standards are followed.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior team members.
- Maintain technical documentation, solution designs, and operational procedures.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Stay current with Snowflake advancements, cloud technologies, and industry best practices.

Mandatory Skills




- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse.

- Snowflake Architecture
- Data Modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema)
- ETL/ELT Design & Development
- Performance Tuning & Query Optimization
- Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, Stored Procedures, Views
- Advanced SQL development and optimization skills.
- Robust experience with Python, Java, or Scala.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Good understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and best practices.
- Experience with Git and version control tools.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with dbt, Matillion, Informatica, AWS Glue, or Azure Data Factory.
- Knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, or other reporting/visualization tools.
- Experience with Data Governance and Data Quality frameworks.
- Exposure to CI/CD, DevOps practices, and Agile development methodologies.
- Understanding of Machine Learning and AI-enabled data solutions.
- Snowflake certifications are highly preferred.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 7-10 years of overall IT experience.
- Minimum 4-5 years of hands-on experience in Snowflake development and implementation.
- Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale data engineering and data warehousing projects.
